I was doing some research lately looking for titles listed on the Common Core Exemplar lists for K-6th. I have the following articles in PDF files that I would love to send to you if needed. 4th grade: Smart-Speak by Marilyn Cram Donahue The (Really) Great Law of Peace by Cynthia O'Brien
We also have copies of the following titles in the Professional Library just waiting: Investigating the Scientific Method With Max Axiom by Donald B. Lemke. This title is listed for fifth grade. We have two copies of this book. Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters by John Steptoe. This book is on the first grade titles list. We have eleven copies of this book plus it is available on Medianet through United Streaming as digitized videos.
This link will take you to the poem The Frog by Hilaire Belloc - Grade 3
If anyone has found other titles from the lists in a format that is easy to share, please let me know. I'll pass it on in future "corners".
